Overview: Capt'n Gregg's is the original dive shop in Sabang Beach, Puerto Galera, Philippines. Founded in 1983, we have over 17 years of experience diving the waters and mapping many of the dive sites found around the shores of Oriental Mindoro.
Accommodation: You will find that the rooms, just like the restaurant have a natural look but with western style and comfort.
All rooms are fan and come with double beds, cable TV, hot water, western style bathroom. But we also have some rooms with aircons.
Dining: With it's old style being situated on the second floor overlooking the water, it makes an ideal place to wine and dine. With a wide selection of meals on the menu a freezer full of cold beverages, watch Cable TV or videos in the bar area, Open air restaurant, or just listening to the music Our latest addition to the menu is a fine selection of Mexican dishes. Along with our usual varity of Philippino and Western food there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Location: There are buses from Manila going to Batangas City pier which will take 2 to 3 hours.
From Batangas City pier you can take Viva Lines, a large RO-RO, which accomodates cars on board. Blue Eagle is a airconditioned fastcraft that takes only an hour, however these go to Peurta Galera which will reqiure further transportation to get to Sabang Beach, by Bancas or jeepney. Or you can take a Big Bancas from Batangas that goes directly to Sabang Beach.
Si-Kat Ferry offers bus and ferry package transportation from City State Tower Hotel, Ermita, Manila to Pourta Galera. Bus departs at 9:00am.
We can also make the arrangements for you to be picked up at the airport by taxi, driven to Batangas and have you met by our designated boat which will bring you directly to Captn Greggs.
