Overview: Pearl Farm Beach Resort lies in a secluded cove on Samal Island off the coast of Davao City. This 11-hectare spread was once a pearl farm, where thousands of white-lipped oysters, transported from the Sulu Sea, were cultivated for their pink, white and gold pearls. Today, the resort beckons with the promise of a relaxing, private retreat, under the care of our friendly, charming staff.
The resort's Samal Houses are patterned after the stilt houses of seafaring Samal tribes of the Sulu archipelago. By day, schools of tiny fish frolic between the sturdy poles that support the houses. At night, the sound of the waves are a soothing aid to slumber.
Accommodation: The resort's deluxe accommodations include 19 Samal Houses, which are designed after the stilt houses of the seafaring Samal Tribe of the Sulu Archipelago, from which one can see through the crystal clear water and watch schools of tropical fish swim through coral formations. The resort also offer rooms in the Balay Houses, located on the hilltop, which open onto a veranda overlooking the beach. And at the other end of the cove are 6 luxurious, two-storied, muslim-inspired Samal Suites. All the rooms are designed to preserve the ethnicity of its surroundings, while at the same time, they are fully airconditioned and stocked with modern amenities to ensure a pleasurable stay for our guests' discriminating taste.
